Corporate Buyer

Metric are currently partnering with a world class manufacturer who are continuing to expand their manufacturing complex in Dallas. We are looking for a strong Buyer to join the Supply Chain & Procurement team. Please see below a brief overview of the role and the required skill sets. Source and procure packaging materials, ensuring quality, cost, availability and specification requirements are consistently met. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and identify opportunities to reduce packaging costs while maintaining quality. Monitor stock levels, forecasts and purchasing requirements to ensure packaging is available to support production and customer demand. Collaborate with suppliers, production, quality and logistics teams to resolve supply issues, improve packaging specifications and support continuous improvement initiatives. To be considered for this role you need: 3+ years of procurement and buying experience within a manufacturing site. Degree educated.
