Shifts: Rotate every other weekend

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Start IVs and draw labs
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Conduct vaginal exams
• Function as an OB circulator
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, c-sections, amniocentesis, and amnioinfusions
• Perform IUPC/FSE placement

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
