  • Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Employment Type: Travel LPN Assignment
  • Location: Middlebury, Vermont
  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week; schedule varies and may include every other weekend
  • Duration: 5 weeks
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
  • Setting: Post-acute care within a skilled nursing rehab environment
  • Patient Population: Adults age 60+ in skilled nursing and rehabilitation care
  • Float Requirement: Yes, occasional/as needed floating
  • Documentation System: EPIC
Job Requirements
  • Active Vermont LPN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Recent EPIC experience within the last 2 years required
  • BLS certification required
  • IV certification preferred
  • Dementia-capable care certification preferred
  • Must be available to work holidays as needed
  • Reliable transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation access in the area
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to post-acute and long-term care patients
  • Support a patient-focused rehab environment with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and recovery
  • Perform common unit procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, transports, nebulizer-to-inhaler transitions, and starting IVs
  • Assist with patient monitoring and routine nursing tasks in collaboration with the care team
  • Float to long-term care and memory care units as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
  • Adapt to a variable schedule while helping meet the needs of the unit and patients
