Manager, Product Group Engineering Regulatory

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager, Product Group Engineering to lead a team of engineers developing digital and technology solutions for DePuy Synthes R&D and product platforms. The role requires translating business and scientific needs into scalable, compliant technical solutions while managing team performance and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering team responsible for technology solutions across R&D and product platforms
• Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle from requirements through deployment and ongoing support
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and IT to deliver scalable compliant solutions
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, quality, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements for medical technology
• Manage delivery commitments, budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
• 6–8 years progressive experience in software, systems, or product engineering in regulated environments
• Hands-on experience with modern software development practices and product lifecycle management
• Working knowledge of SDLC, agile/hybrid delivery models, and engineering quality controls
• Proven people-management experience with coaching and team development capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influence skills
• Experience translating business and R&D requirements into measurable technical solutions
