- DesignerApply**Job#: 3037230****Job Description:**Designer**Location:** Phoenix, Arizona (Onsite)Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Designer to support large cell site projects for an electric utility. This role will focus on producing high-quality, technically sound designs that meet utility standards, support wireless carrier requirements, and integrate with existing distribution infrastructure. This position is essential to meet rising project demand and maintain velocity.Key Responsibilities* Develop detailed designs for large wireless carrier projects, including power delivery, equipment placement, grounding, and service upgrades.* Ensure all designs adhere to electric utility construction standards, safety codes, and permitting requirements.* Collaborate with engineering, construction, permitting, and field operations teams to ensure design feasibility and constructability.* Support the team by taking ownership of high-volume design packages and helping stabilize throughput.* Prepare drawings, BOMs, as-builts, and supporting documentation using approved CAD and design tools.* Interface with project managers, wireless carriers, and internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.* Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope.Required Qualifications* Experience designing for electric utilities, telecom infrastructure, or related engineering environments.* Proficiency with CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and utility design workflows.* Understanding of distribution systems, service planning, and construction standards.* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and field notes.* Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple design packages concurrently.* Communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
