Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develops and implements individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and diagnose patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly, documenting progress in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members on speech disorders and therapy goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery.
• Complete detailed discharge summaries and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC certification from ASHA required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP required; LTC or rehab experience preferred.
• New graduates with Level II clinical experience considered.
• Current license and eligibility to work in Oklahoma required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a CCS credential (preferred).
