KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides mental health assessment, individual and/or group counseling/psychotherapy services for adults and families.
• Utilizes evidence-based best practices in assessment, treatment planning and counseling/therapy services. Focus on trauma-informed care, CBT, and the recovery model.
• Completes and maintains clinical records that are thorough, accurate, timely, and fulfill professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain direct service productivity and achieves clinical outcomes.
• Collaborates with other clinical staff to advance quality clinical care.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences with psychiatric, Community Support, and other members of the treatment team. Makes referrals for other Center services.
• Assists with performance improvement projects focused on quality and safety of clinical care. This includes assistance with the peer review process.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including: assessments; treatment plans and goals; progress notes; discharge summaries; service logs; correspondence; reports, and so forth.
• Be included in a professional, ethical, innovative culture of openness and flexibility.
• Participate in unique treatment programs and services for individuals and families.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in mental health or human services related field. Independent licensure (LISW, LPCC) in State of Ohio preferred. Supervisory credential preferred. Minimum LPC, LSW, LMFT required. NPI, CAQH, Medicaid and/or Medicare credentials needed or applied prior to joining.
• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient or community-based setting. Experience with clinical supervision an advantage.
• Passion for high-quality, client-centered care.
• Experience with electronic health record documentation necessary. PC proficiency required.
• Experience with screening tools for trauma and suicide risk, and outcomes measurement.
• Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Valid Ohio driver's license required.
• Strong oral, verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Strong time-management.
