Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Mayville, North Dakota
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 21, 2026
• End Date: January 20, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200-$2,320
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Schedule: Every third weekend and every other holiday
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Access Hospital with combined Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical responsibilities
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic with barcode medication administration
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Dakota
• At least 1 year of acute-care nursing experience required; 2-3 years of Medical-Surgical and/or Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Previous Critical Access Hospital experience required
• Demonstrated ability to provide nursing care in both Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical settings
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Room and those receiving Medical-Surgical care
• Care for inpatient, observation, swing-bed, outpatient treatment, and emergency patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments using Epic documentation and barcode medication scanning processes
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate timely interventions, escalation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold current nursing standards, hospital policies, and patient safety practices
