• Required Qualifications: Current respiratory therapy license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care is advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist performs routine and advanced procedures including operating ventilatory equipment, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring, and assisting with various respiratory procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. The role also involves record-keeping, communication with physicians, equipment maintenance, and adherence to all policies and procedures including laboratory testing and emergency protocols.
