The Brook KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adolescents. Job Duties: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will be an essential member of a dedicated team committed to helping individuals achieve recovery, stability, and improved mental wellness. Job Duties:

• Provide assessment of patients' psychiatric and medical status.
• Administer medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations.
• Initiate and document special treatment procedures.
• Provide and direct milieu management.
• Document nursing care, treatment and patient's response to treatment.
• Provide health education to patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Required: Associate degree in nursing
• Licensure/Certification: Required: Valid RN License in State of KY or Compact State Required: Handle With Care Required: BLS
• Experience: Required: 0 - 1 years of related experience. Preferred: 1 - 3 years of related experience.
