RN - Oncology

Registered Nurse - Adult Medical Oncology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift - 5x7.5 hours (08:00 - 16:00)

The Registered Nurse will provide care in adult medical oncology, including GI, GU, breast, head and neck, neuro, thoracic, lymphoma, leukemia, GYN oncology, and classic hematology. Responsibilities include performing bone marrow biopsies, accessing ports, and administering hormonal therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bone marrow biopsies in clinic settings.
• Perform GYN oncology procedures, including paps, biopsies, colposcopies, and pelvic exams.
• Administer neupogen and manage colostomy care.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Chart patient information using the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult medical oncology.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with accessing/managing ports and central line blood draws.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is mandatory.
