CLC NursePlano Campus - Plano, TX 75093OverviewPosition Type: Part-Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Category: NurseDescriptionProvides nursing support to Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC") Christian Learning Center ("CLC").Responsibilities:Provide healthcare to students and staff who become ill or injured during the school dayFollow action plans and physician orders to include but not limited to medication (routine & emergency) and all necessary documentationMaintain accurate record of state mandated requirements including immunizationsAssure CLC health services and activities are appropriately documentedParticipate in development and implementation of health promotion activitiesAssist with disease prevention including student and staff educationImplement communicable disease control at CLC including monitoring, surveillance, excluding students from CLC environment and reporting to state when applicableAssess, order and stock medical suppliesAdhere to HIPAA and all confidentiality rules and regulationsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and teaching ministryGraduate of an accredited professional nursing education programValid Texas nursing licenseCPR/AED CertificationOne year nursing experience requiredStrong organization, communication interpersonal skillsIntermediate skills with Microsoft OfficeAble to work Tuesdays and ThursdaysAble to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
