The Company is seeking a Senior Managing Director for Turnaround and Restructuring. This senior-level role is pivotal in leading and managing client engagement teams through challenging in-and-out of court turnaround and restructuring situations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the final delivery of analyses, providing guidance on complex restructuring alternatives, and having a deep understanding of various restructuring concepts. They must be adept at negotiating with senior stakeholders, managing project work plans, and ensuring the quality of client deliverables. The role also involves maintaining day-to-day relationships with senior client executives and overseeing the development of staff. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years' of relevant restructuring or distressed experience in a professional service or consulting firm environment. A history of revenue origination, an undergraduate degree from a top academic institution, and advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CFA, CIRA, or CPA are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a high-energy, flexible, and adaptive style, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in financial modeling, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to influence change at executive levels are essential. The role requires a self-directed individual with expert written communication skills, who is also willing to undertake extensive travel and work long hours, including weekends, to meet client demands.
