Compensation Coordinator

Location: Providence, RI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 100% onsite during training; afterward, Monday–Tuesday onsite and Wednesday–Friday remote
Job Type: Temporary Contract
Pay:  $27.00/hour

Position Overview

SGF Global is seeking a detail-oriented  Compensation Coordinator to support a Human Resources team in Providence, RI. This role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in HR, compensation, data analysis, and reporting.

You'll support compensation operations through data audits, reporting, inbox management, documentation, meeting coordination, and communication with internal HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the shared Compensation inbox, including triaging and routing requests.
• Perform recurring data audits across HR and compensation systems.
• Create and maintain standard reporting files.
• Support compensation cycle documentation and administrative activities.
• Coordinate vendor and executive meetings and maintain schedules.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting.
• Draft, review, and organize compensation-related communications.
• Perform accurate data entry and document reviews.
• Collaborate with HR teams to resolve requests and maintain accurate information.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with  Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .
• Experience using  Google Drive .
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and auditing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous HR experience, particularly in  Compensation .
• Experience with  Workday and/or  Payfactors .
• Experience performing HR or compensation data audits.
• Background in data analysis or reporting.
• Experience with Visio or process mapping tools.

Work Schedule

Training: 100% onsite during the first few weeks.

After Training:

• Monday: Onsite
• Tuesday: Onsite
• Wednesday: Remote
• Thursday: Remote
• Friday: Remote

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, or audits: 1 year (Required)
• Human Resources, Compensation, payroll, or a related: 1 year (Required)
