Service Manager (Bilingual)

Donaldson, a trusted name in multifamily property management, is looking for an experienced, Bilingual Service Manager fluent in Spanish and English to oversee the maintenance operations at a 257-unit apartment community in Rockville, MD. If you take pride in leading teams, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and lead a team of service techniciansSchedule and manage all maintenance operations, including service requests, work orders, and preventive maintenanceOversee contractors and vendors; manage inventory and supply orderingEnsure high-quality apartment turnovers and unit readinessPerform and oversee repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenanceConduct routine inspections of apartments, buildings, and systemsEnsure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and building codesMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation using property management systems (Yardi preferred)Participate in on-call emergency rotation as neededRequirements:3+ years of apartment maintenance experience, with prior supervisory or lead technician experienceHVAC certification required; expertise in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentryStrong leadership, scheduling, and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsComputer proficiency; Yardi experience is a plusMust have basic tools and reliable transportationAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbsBilingual (English/Spanish) requiredProfessional appearance and commitment to quality workWhy Donaldson?We know our success starts with our people.
