Job Title: Painter Department: Paint Reports To: Production Supervisor Classification: Non-Exempt Shift: 2nd Duties & Responsibilities Understand all operations and safety procedures of the paint booth Use correct gloves, respirators, etc. to ensure safety Adjust paint gun to correct settings to achieve desired coating Mix 2-part epoxy primers and paints to the correct ratio Clean all paint equipment using proper procedures and chemicals Understand the paint millage for each product and can check millage when needed Apply tape and masking where needed Job Locations US-SC-Rock Hill Benefits Safety is Priority One – and our record shows it Competitive Pay Company 401K plan with Employer Contribution Match Company Paid Time Off Company Paid Life Insurance Choice of Medical Coverage including Prescription and Short Term Disability Plans Choice of Dental and Vision Coverage Optional Long-term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, Legal and Pet Coverage Auto and Home Insurance Discount Programs Required Skills & Abilities Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, assembly prints, packing lists, shop orders, and other written correspondence Knowledge of fractions and decimals Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Two years’ experience in a production environment preferred Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO) Onsite training available Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
