Travel Registered Nurse Pulmonary/General Medical Unit
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:4507:15
Assignment type: 13-week traveler accepted Offered hours: 36 hours can be offered
Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients, focusing on pulmonary and general medical conditions.
Monitor and manage patients with tracheostomies, chest tubes, and non-invasive airway support systems (BiPAP/CPAP).
Administer medications and perform procedures as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and care strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the charting system.
Pre-start testing required within 48 hours after signing; all testing must be completed within 48 hours.
Up to 7 days RTO is auto-approved (no holidays); no RTO during the first week; must work 2 of 3 major holidays; all RTO must be pre-approved.
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
COVID-19 vaccine: Not required.
Orientation: 24 hours.
