Environmental Services Specialist

Schedule The Environmental Services Specialist works part‑time hours: 5 days a week (Monday–Friday) with an afternoon shift from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend shifts may rotate for 2–3 hours. Job Summary Under supervision of the Environmental Services Lead, the Environmental Services Specialist is responsible for cleaning all assigned areas they are trained to clean, coordinating supplies, and facilitating rapid turnover between cases or patients. The role includes room cleaning, general and office cleaning, and the use of personal protective equipment and chemical cleaners. This professional must work under pressure, remain patient, tactful, and demonstrate stamina and endurance while assisting other departments as needed.
