Senior Piping Designer

We are looking for a Senior Piping Design Technician to work on projects that enable the heart of clients’ businesses. This hybrid position requires the ideal candidate to be located in Portland, Oregon; Tempe, Arizona; Moon Township, Pennsylvania; or Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks; recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly as you become familiar with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule; review vendor drawings; execute piping engineering design and develop design estimates. You will also mentor other professionals, helping them discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree. At least 8 years of piping design experience. Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and/or Revit. Experience with Navisworks and Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, etc.). Desired Skills Electronic industry experience (semiconductor). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas. Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base. Salary Base salary range: $86,600.00 to $131,010.00. Compensation is hourly based on hours worked. Pay is determined by work location and other factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
