Position Psychometrist – under the clinical supervision of a licensed psychologist, neuropsychologist, or other appropriately qualified behavioral health care provider. The Psychometrist is responsible for direct patient and family work by routinely administering, scoring, and compiling results of a full comprehensive evaluation. Benefits Eligible for the Damar Advantage including discounts at Damar Health Services and Damar Pharmacy Comprehensive training in verbal intervention and physical management techniques Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance options Up to $3,000 per year in Tuition Assistance 401(k) Plan Participation for retirement savings Life Insurance and additional voluntary options for loved ones Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability Insurance options Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) for rest and renewal Responsibilities Administers and scores a range of neuropsychological and psychological tests (pediatric and adult batteries) Adheres to standardized testing procedures Adapts test administration to the specific needs of each patient while maintaining standardized procedures for each test Manages behavioral and motivation issues that may arise during assessment Completes all scoring in a timely manner Ensures accuracy of scored tests Uses computerized test administration and scoring programs Maintains confidentiality of test results and recommended materials Provides written summaries of relevant behavioral observations to the supervising licensed psychologist, neuropsychologist, or other appropriately qualified behavioral health care provider Serves as a member of Damar’s interdisciplinary team Seeks the best use of materials, equipment and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness Prioritizes duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth Shows initiative by identifying solutions to improve stakeholder satisfaction Keeps abreast of current assessment practices, testing methodologies, literature, and applicable regulations to support the delivery of high‑quality clinical services Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances Interacts professionally with parents, school and medical personnel, and coordinates clinical services between Damar, schools, clinics, and families as warranted Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Must meet one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university required; 3 years of experience administering standardized evaluative tests Master’s degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred; 1 year of experience administering standardized evaluative tests Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) preferred Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements Valid Indiana driver’s license with a driving record that meets the eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving) Clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions Successfully complete a pre‑employment physical Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening #J-18808-Ljbffr Damar Services, Inc.
