Senior Project ManagerThe Senior Project Manager leads and manages multiple complex, highly visible projects across the enterprise. Provides leadership and accountability for the execution of several concurrent projects within the portfolio. This position is responsible for establishing and improving business processes, methods, tools, and metrics necessary to drive consistent project delivery excellence. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with business partners across to build relationships necessary to drive excellence and value delivery in execution. This position plays a significant role in mastering cross-functional collaboration and defining tangible business outcomes. This role is responsible for timely and effective written and verbal communications within the project and across stakeholder groups. Reports to the Director of Program Management as part of the Office of the CIO.Tasks and responsibilities include being a critical member of a team of highly effective Project Management professionals, possessing strong executive presence, managing and meeting the expectations of Senior and Executive leadership, demonstrating leadership and establishing trust, understanding and incorporating organizational change leadership, providing thought leadership, being accountable for leadership, planning, and execution of large and complex projects, managing and reporting on projects in all stages, leveraging and improving necessary tools and practices, defining and deploying world-class Project Management practices, providing overall project governance and oversight, developing Key Performance Indicators, coaching and mentoring Project Managers, demonstrating ability to learn and propose improvements, demonstrating ability to communicate and direct others through the Portfolio Stage and Gate process, establishing partnerships, providing consulting support and advising leadership, serving as a member of the Senior Leadership team, providing project information and consulting to other senior leadership team members, supporting each senior leader to ensure high standards of delivery, and supporting and holding each senior leader accountable for commitments.Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, experience managing highly complex projects and programs, significant leadership experience, ability to work effectively with business executives and leaders, proven ability to prepare executive-level material, extensive experience partnering with executives, experience driving workshops, focus groups, and work sessions, exceptional skills in producing qualified business cases, strong financial acumen, strong business acumen, strong collaboration and communication skills, organizational leadership and change skills, ability to clarify ambiguous information, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, professional certification, portfolio management experience, demonstrated organizational design, data analysis, business planning, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, strategic vendor management, experience in the utility industry, and consulting or multidisciplinary experience.Benefits summary includes individual compensation determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location, medical, dental, vision, commuter, and 401K benefits with company matching.
