Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Work location: Texas Health Kaufman – 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142. Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours a week, Nights. 6:45pm – 7:15am with rotating weekends. 1. year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required
2. years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is preferred1 year Emergency department charge nurse is strongly preferred

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) upon hire is required and maintained quarterly Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) maintained annually (90 days) is required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 90 days required Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) 90 days required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 90 days required or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) 6 months required Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) 12 months required A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
