Radiation OncologistWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our growing dermatology group.We are a privately owned group and are looking for a radiation oncologist to work part time or full time in the state of Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer, determining the most appropriate course of radiation therapy (EBT/SRT)- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, overall health, and specific cancer type- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, physician assistants and nurses, to ensure comprehensive cancer care- Monitor patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary- Educate patients and their families on the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of radiation therapy- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of radiation oncologyRequirements:- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution- Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology- Strong clinical skills and experience in radiation oncology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively within a team- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
