Preservation Architect - Los Angeles, USA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Los Angeles As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to identify preservation needs Develop preservation plans and strategies considering factors such as historical significance budget and materials Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers and construction workers to ensure the preservation process is carried out effectively Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation work Oversee the restoration process including managing contractors and ensuring quality of work Monitor progress of preservation projects and make necessary adjustments as needed Conduct research on historical buildings and materials to inform preservation decisions Keep accurate records of all preservation work for future reference Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture Extensive knowledge of historic building materials techniques and codesregulations Strong project management skills Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various professionals Ability to conduct thorough research on historical buildings Attention to detail Strong problem-solving abilities Salary $1300month contract job Note This job does not require fluency in English Only Indian candidates with their own visa will be considered Accommodation will not be provided #J-18808-Ljbffr PrimeDefense USA
