Sr. Director of Pricing

Title: Sr. Director of Pricing Company: Tampa Electric Company State and City: Florida - Tampa Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days Storm Duty Requirements Tampa Electric and its sister companies provide critical services during emergencies. Team members are required to participate in response and recovery activities related to emergencies and disasters to maintain service to customers. Team members must work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures. Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide regulatory strategy and pricing analysis regarding business issues governed by the FPSC and FERC. Provide updates, expert presentations, and advice to company officers, board of directors, company management, and external stakeholders on current regulatory issues. Collaborate in the development of long‑term generation expansion plan strategy. Direct the overall process of developing corporate annual electric customer demand and energy forecasts, ensuring consistent weather, economic, demographic, and energy‑use assumptions. Oversee demand‑side management programs, distributed energy resources, and load profiling. Oversee electric revenue forecast process and develop billing determinants for rate design. Provide expert testimony before FERC and FPSC. Direct the preparation, development, and filing of ongoing retail, wholesale, and transmission electric tariffs and their underlying rate designs, approaches, or forecasts. Provide all usage and pricing analyses needed and expert testimony before FERC and FPSC. Direct the preparation of cost‑of‑service and jurisdictional separation studies for FPSC and FERC proceedings and provide expert testimony before those bodies. Prepare such studies in support of annual regulatory surveillance reporting. Direct the corporate load research program as required by Public Service Commission’s Cost of Service Load Research Rule and other corporate objectives. Oversee the load research team in developing load survey sample sizes, sample selection, data collection, reporting, and related projects. Provide expert testimony before FERC and FPSC. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Legal, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field. Preferred: Graduate degree in the above fields. Experience Required: 10 years of regulatory experience and/or general experience in industry structure, utility finance and accounting practices, ratemaking practices, legal and regulatory processes. Preferred: Experience performing and/or leading cost‑of‑service studies, statistical forecasting processes, and designing rates. Supervisory Experience Required: 5 years of supervisory experience.
