Job Description

The Mother Baby Unit is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This unit consists of 34 private couplet rooms, focusing on the care of mothers and their newborns. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team that emphasizes nursing excellence and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a couplet care model.
• Monitor and assess patients, ensuring timely interventions and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in a Mother Baby unit or similar nursing setting.
• STABLE certification is preferred.
