As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
