NurseCore is hiring Licensed Practical Vocational Nurses (LVN ) in the San Luis Obispo and surrounding area if you're compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform patient assessments and deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assist with medications and treatment orders per patient’s individualized plan of care
• Complete accurate documentation as part of maintaining patient records
• Communicating status updates with ordering providers and Care Teams
• Educate patients and Families on management of disease processes

Qualifications

• Active Unencumbered California LVN License
• Minimum of 1 Year recent experience as a licensed nurse (Prior Home Health Experience is Preferred)
• Strong Clinical and Communication Skills
• Current valid CPR Certification including hands-on skills component (i.e. American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Negative TB test completed within the last 12 months
• Recent Physical Exam (within the last 12 months)

Compensation: The anticipated pay range for this position is $34.00-$38.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
This position may also be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
Eligible employees may have access to voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and other benefit programs in accordance with company policy and plan terms. Employee contributions may be required for participation in benefit plans.
