Production Planner / Manufacturing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Planner / Manufacturing Coordinator to support production operations in Alpharetta, GA. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating products throughout the full production cycle to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and program management teams to ensure materials, labor, and schedules are aligned with production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor products through the complete production cycle
• Work from build plans and production specifications to ensure materials are available per schedule
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to support production requirements
• Track and communicate the status of work-in-progress to management and stakeholders
• Ensure availability of materials and labor to meet delivery commitments
• Identify and resolve potential production issues such as material shortages, labor constraints, and scheduling conflicts
• Support final product approvals and ensure adherence to production timelines
• Maintain accurate data entry and production records within internal systems
• Utilize Excel and other tools to track schedules, inventory, and production progress

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Approximately 65% office (cubicle) work and 35% production floor interaction
• Collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting multiple functions

Qualifications Required (Must-Haves)

• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• 25 years of relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage competing priorities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs independently (team lift required for heavier items)

Qualifications Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of CONTROL system is a plus)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelors Degree with 02 years of related experience or
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
