Registered Nurse – Pediatric CVICU

Days and nights available: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 26

Requirements

• Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or Diploma Nursing degree
• Current RN license in the state or multistate privileges
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider
• Current PALS certification
• Current NRP preferred
• 2 years of experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU
• Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU preferred
• Experience floating to NICU and PICU preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care appropriate to patients' ages and conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health
• Document care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital goals
• Adhere to regulatory standards and patient care practice standards

Compliance / Notes

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Exemption applications must be approved prior to starting. Unvaccinated individuals will need to sign declination agreements and wear masks during the full respiratory virus season.
