RN - PACU

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in various areas of perioperative care. This position will involve responsibilities across Pre-operative, Post-operative, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion settings. The role requires a flexible schedule with four ten-hour shifts and participation in a shared on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing assessments and provide comprehensive peri-operative education and care.
• Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Float and provide nursing care across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic.
• Administer conscious sedation for special procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of Pre-operative, Post-operative, SSSU, or PACU experience.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
