Community Manager

Founded in 1986, the company brings decades of experience delivering exceptional value to partners across multifamily, single‑family rentals, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active adult, and student housing divisions. Community Manager The Community Manager oversees the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. The on‑site leader ensures compliance with Asset’s policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management – hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; maintain schedules and performance. Financial Management – achieve net operating income targets, control costs, manage budgeting, reconcile rent and vendor invoices, produce accurate financial reports. Strategic Leasing Management – develop marketing plans, finalize leases, manage resident complaints, and implement resident retention programs. Administrative & Maintenance Management – oversee reporting, lead emergency response, monitor service requests, maintain property appearance, manage property resources. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years housing‑industry experience; or one to two years related experience. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Proficiency with on‑site software and basic computer skills. Fundamental knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Extended periods of communication, standing, and movement; possible overtime, weekends, and nighttime work. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, operate machinery or power tools, drive motor vehicles or golf carts, and perform tasks in varied environments. License & Equipment Reliable transportation is required due to on‑call emergency duties.
