Associate Medical Technologist

Labcorp seeks an Associate Medical Technologist for the Targeted Cell Isolation team in Indianapolis. The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate results reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability according to established testing criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental standard operating procedures
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Document preventative maintenance, quality control procedures, and test results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
• ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
• One year of clinical laboratory testing experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts
