PAY:
Travelers Pay: 
Taxable Amount - $36.25/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $700 weekly
Meals Stipend - $545 weekly
Weekly Gross - $2,550 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Progressive Care Unit
Location - Rockford, IL 61104
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Day Shift - 7 am to 7:30 pm

Weekly Hours - 36 hours 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Monitor telemetry, recognize changes in patient status, and respond promptly to emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and disease management.
Perform wound care, central line care, and other specialized nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines.

REQUIREMENT:
Cardiac and post cardiovascular surgical experience.

Illinois RN license

BLS, ACLS required, ANCC cardio. cert. preferred

No local candidates within a 50 mile radius.
