Job Posting: Seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver in the Mineral Point, WI area to offer supportive care for a young adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client's independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment in their home and community.
Pay:
- $16.32/hourly
- Opportunity to receive $500 bonus
- Flexible schedule to be officially determined between member and provider.
- Up to three weekdays per week (depending on your availability): 8:00am-4:00pm
- Occasional Saturday nights (hours vary)
- Care would be provided in client's home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.
- Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. Actively monitor seizures, remove any harmful objects, and time duration.
- Support the client during postictal period by providing comfort and re-orientation.
- Track medications and ensure member is on schedule.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care and meal prep, while promoting independence.
- Assist client in the community.
- Must pass background check.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience working with seizures preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
