Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Oakland, CA We’re seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in Oakland, California . This role offers the opportunity to support patients in regaining mobility, strength, and independence while working closely with a licensed Physical Therapist. Location: Oakland, CA Schedule: 5x8s (40 hours per week) Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possible extension) Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant License (California) Current BLS certification Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.) Responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans Provide therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and function Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy techniques Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure comprehensive patient care Highlights 13-week assignment with potential to extend Supportive team environment Competitive contract opportunity in the Bay Area Why Oakland?
