Job Description Build and maintain relationships with customers across multiple channels (in‑person, by appointment, and virtually) to provide the best possible counsel. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information. Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. Proactively reach out and follow up with clients, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences. Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital products and services. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to best serve clients. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy. Must hold National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a satisfactory criminal and credit record. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically has five or more years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training. Location expectations: require working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days. Preferred Skills/Experience Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients. Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services. Proven customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience in participating in sales campaigns or promotions. Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset. Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively. Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
