Shift Lead

Job Summary Black Rifle Coffee Company seeks Shift Leads to assist the General Manager with store operations during scheduled shifts. Shift Leads manage the team, ensure excellent customer service, handle inventory, supervise employees, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and manage in‑store operations during scheduled shifts. Organize opening and closing duties as assigned. Provide clear, specific, and timely coaching and feedback to associates to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Proactively respond to customer and store needs, escalating feedback and concerns to store management. Prepare quality beverages and food products following BRCC standards. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. Schedule and cover breaks and meals for floor staff. Assist with other duties as directed by the General Manager. Requirements 3+ years of experience in QSR, customer service, retail, or hospitality environments. 2+ years of retail supervisory experience (preferred). Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with cash handling, safety, and security. Demonstrated track record of coaching & developing others. Competency in written and verbal communication. Basic computer skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and telephone. Close vision required for computer work. Ability to hear and communicate through a headset. Light to moderate lifting (no more than 25 lbs). Moderate noise tolerance (business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic).
