We are seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join a food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, stage, and store finished food products while supporting production and warehouse operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent placement based on performance.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, stage, and store finished food products while supporting production and warehouse operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent placement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move and transport finished food products
- Load, unload, stage, and store product in designated areas
- Support production lines by supplying materials and removing finished goods
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper product handling and documentation
- Inspect forklift before use and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday-Friday
- Ability to handle and work around finished food products safely
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Food handling or food manufacturing experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards
