Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Milford, MA. The ideal Technician will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and on construction equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, articulated dump trucks and skid steers. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits: Competitive wages $40 to $45/hr. Health, Dental, and Vision coverage, Life Insurance, Paid time off and matching 401k. Paid time off and holidays. Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday to Friday and Saturday 7:00 AM - 12 Noon.
