About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the establishment of a new category in AI for Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the company's market positioning, product narrative, and growth strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of complex technology and enterprise customers, as well as the ability to lead an international team and make strategic decisions to scale the marketing function. The CMO will be at the forefront of shaping how AI is perceived in the engineering world and will play a pivotal role in influencing global manufacturers' adoption of AI in their design processes. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in marketing, with a strong background in technical B2B environments. Mandatory experience includes senior marketing leadership in areas such as engineering software, industrial technology, robotics, AI, simulation, CAD/CAE, PLM, or scientific software. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling marketing organizations, creating market categories, and supporting complex enterprise sales. Global experience, particularly in the US and Europe, is essential. The role demands a leader with a strong product marketing and positioning capability, who is adept at driving pipeline and enterprise growth, and who can effectively lead and develop a marketing team. The CMO will be expected to be intellectually curious, commercially rigorous, and to operate with a high level of independence and professionalism in the marketing domain.
