Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours

Experience: 2 years of prior phlebotomist experience required

License: National certification required

Certifications: National certification examples include NAHP, AMT, ASCP, NCCT/MMCI, NCA, NHA, NPCE, NPA, ASPT, AAMP, AAH, NAPT. Must-Have: Cerner charting experience required.

Description: We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to assist our team. The position involves drawing blood from both hospital inpatients and ambulatory outpatients. Our team draws approximately 300 patients daily. Candidates should be accustomed to a high-paced environment, with expectations of completing 8 hospital draws per hour and 10 clinic draws per hour. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility, as local applicants will not be considered. Experience in charting systems is essential. This role requires the ability to perform various blood collection techniques, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Post-venipuncture care is also a key responsibility. Candidates should be familiar with both hospital and outpatient lab settings.
