The Opportunity
The Laundry Attendant will be part of Yora's founding Housekeeping team, helping prepare the fresh, clean linens that will support Yora Nordic Spa's first guests in November 2026. This role is anticipated to start between mid- and late October 2026.

Guests may never see the laundry room, but they experience its work throughout their visit. By processing, inspecting, organizing and distributing towels, robes and linens with care, the Laundry Attendant creates the quiet reliability that helps every Yora space feel clean, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared.

What You Will Do

• Collect, sort and process soiled towels, linens, robes, slippers and other washable items according to established procedures.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, folding equipment and other laundry equipment safely and correctly.
• Select appropriate wash cycles, temperatures, load sizes and drying settings for different textile types.
• Use laundry chemicals according to established procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Inspect linens before and after processing for cleanliness, stains, wear and damage.
• Rewash, treat or remove unacceptable items from circulation according to established standards.
• Fold, organize, store and prepare clean linens for distribution throughout the spa.
• Prioritize production and respond to changing linen needs so shortages do not disrupt the guest experience.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe laundry, linen-storage and equipment areas.
• Clean lint traps and complete required equipment-cleaning and preventative-care procedures.
• Maintain clear separation and organized movement of clean and soiled linens.
• Complete required production, cleaning, safety and linen records accurately and on time.
• Report equipment malfunctions, chemical concerns, supply shortages and safety issues promptly.
• Support teammates during high-volume periods and participate fully in equipment, chemical-safety, sanitation and operational training.

What You Bring

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, guest-service or commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• The ability to follow established processes, safety procedures and equipment instructions accurately.
• The ability to recognize stains, damage and unacceptable linen quality.
• Strong organization and the ability to manage repetitive production requirements efficiently.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Dependability and the ability to maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift.
• The ability to safely operate commercial laundry equipment and handle laundry chemicals following training.
• Comfort working in a physically active, warm and production-focused environment.

Schedule
This is a part-time, on-site position with shifts scheduled based on business and operational needs. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Additional availability may be requested during the pre-opening and opening periods.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This is a physically active position performed primarily in a commercial laundry environment. The role involves extended periods of standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching, twisting and crouching; repetitive hand and arm movements associated with sorting and folding; and regularly lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling laundry, supplies, equipment and loaded laundry carts. The laundry building is located separately from the main spa building, requiring limited travel outdoors between buildings when collecting or distributing linens. Employees may encounter outdoor weather and changing temperatures during this travel. Within the laundry area, employees work around heat and humidity generated by commercial washers, dryers and other equipment, as well as noise, soiled linens, laundry chemicals and wet or slippery surfaces. Appropriate equipment-safety procedures, chemical-handling practices and protective equipment must be used when required. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
