• Pay Range: $22.00 - 28.00
• Work Location: South Windham, CT (10 minutes from Willimantic and 20 minutes from Norwich, CT).

We are currently looking for a full time Assembler to join our team.

Job Summary:

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

About the Role:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
• Gathers necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials to complete the job.
• Assembles components per instructions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required per DoD requirements
• Prompt punctuality and attendance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Box Truck Driving Experience
• Forklift Experience
• Experience in quality assurance a plus
• Takes initiative

Physical & Mental:

General: Position requires ability to concentrate on details with occasional interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time. Ability to understand theories behind related concepts and to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over periods of time; ability to prioritize given shifting priorities; ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Environmental & Working Conditions:

Industrial shop setting. Dust, dirt, metal debris from manufacturing will be encountered. Moderate levels of noise will be encountered.
