Compensation Less than 2,000 mi/week: $784.33 Weekly Guarantee + $16.50 Per Stop + $80.00 Per Layover Over 2,000 mi/week: $784.33 Weekly Guarantee + $.39 Per Mile over 2000 + $16.50 Per Stop Both scenarios: $15 per hour for Breakdown and Detention $35 Willa's $30 Backhaul ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies, DOT Guidelines, and traffic laws. Conducts and documents pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer. Responsible for securing cargo on trailer. Makes product deliveries according to proper route and schedule as indicated on the manifest. Ensures product accuracy and quality by scanning product tag numbers with a scanner and visually inspecting product as it is unloaded from the trailer. Obtains customer signatures on proof of delivery and submits to the dispatcher as required. Clean and sweep truck and trailer as needed. Operate and maintain a ‘Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording’ device. Report truck, trailer, equipment, and material problems and/or damage, accidents, and traffic violations promptly to Woodgrain. Maintains a clean and professional appearance. Attends departmental staff and safety meetings. Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to pull a 175 Lb. trailer curtain open and closed at each stop as well as un-strap and re-strap to secure the remaining load. QUALIFICATIONS Must have High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 21 years of age. 18‑month verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the past 3 years required. Over the Road drivers – 2 years verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the past 3 years required. No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years, and no more than 3 within the past 7 years. No DUIs within the last 7 years. No reckless driving, speeding 15 mph or over, or leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years. No at‑fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years. Current Class A CDL required. Effective time management and organizational skills. High level attention to detail.
