Medical Technologist - $5000.00 SIGN ON BONUS

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Lab Technologist for third-shift work at a hospital laboratory in Mequon, Wisconsin. The role involves performing routine and complex testing procedures, operating laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate result reporting.

Responsibilities

Evaluate specimen acceptability based on established laboratory criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
Document preventive maintenance activities and report timely, accurate test results

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
One year or more clinical laboratory testing experience or Master of Laboratory Science degree
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Capable of passing standardized color blindness test
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation: $5,000 sign-on bonus (external applicants only)
