Shop Laborer

Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, construct, and prepare various parts and components, such as agricultural pumps, mixers, or separators.
• Handle the transportation of materials, tools, and completed products within the shop premises and provide support in shipping and receiving tasks.
• Operate shop machinery, hand tools, and power tools while under supervision.
• Assist proficient technicians and welders as necessary during production processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop, equipment, and workspaces to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Shop Laborer Position:

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects (potentially up to 50 lbs.) and standing for prolonged periods.

Mechanical Skills:

• Proficiency in utilizing common hand and power tools is essential.

Attention to Detail:

• Ability to execute tasks with precision and perform basic quality assessments.

Team Player:

• Demonstrate experience collaborating effectively within a team and following instructions from supervisors.

Keen Learner:

• Display adaptability and a positive approach towards acquiring new skills and responsibilities.

Experience (Preferred): Previous involvement in a manufacturing or similar shop setting is beneficial, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
