Several openings are available, with your choice of caseload focus—Life Skills, Autism, or Behavior classrooms—across three supportive elementary environments. Confirm your preferred age group and functional area when applying; you’ll contribute in self-contained specialized classrooms with collaborative activities such as Art and PE, fostering inclusive experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Accredited bachelor’s degree
• Valid Texas Special Education (EC-12) teaching certificate
• Experience in Special Education preferred, with a passion for working in Life Skills, Autism, or Behavior support classrooms
• Ability to tailor instruction for diverse learning needs, including curriculum modification and small-group learning
• Commitment to full-time availability for the duration of the contract
• Clear, current TEA fingerprint background check (must be completed if not already on file; allow up to 7 days for clearance)
