Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving or general warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills for inventory control and warehouse management system usage.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting, standing, and moving materials for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in forklift operation.
• Experience with electric pallet jacks and advanced warehouse management software.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks safely to move inventory within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into warehouse management systems.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve discrepancies and improve warehouse processes.
• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading and unloading trucks, stacking pallets, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse environment.
