We are seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support to Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Maintenance in resolving manufacturing issues and driving continuous process improvement. This role uses lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving methods, and robust process development to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.What You Will Do:Support processing and set up teams to improve daily efficiency and continuous improvement effortsParticipate in product launches to ensure a smooth transition from launch to productionContribute to PFMEA activities for new product launchesImplement process improvements, affecting scrap, labor, and downtimeLead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools such as 6S, SMED, and error-proofingIdentify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions for process-related customer rejections to prevent recurrenceCommunicate with suppliers and customers regarding processing materials and equipmentLead investigation teams focused on scrap reduction, process improvement, and cycle time reductionEstablish and maintain robust production processes for each moldEstablish and maintain optimal machine settings for each moldEstablish and maintain process standards for raw material dryersProvide technical support and training to the processing and molding departmentsProvide problem-solving and engineering support to Tool Room, Maintenance, and MoldingWhat You Need to Be Successful: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent injection molding processing experienceMinimum 10 years of related manufacturing experienceKnowledge of thermoplastic morphologies and their propertiesUnderstanding of polymer chain degradation and its causes and effectsFundamentals of Systematic Molding certificationMaster Molder 1 certificationMaster Molder 2 certificationEmployer will not sponsor visas for position.
